The workshop equips clinical staff with evidence-based techniques to support women through calm, physiological labour — drawing from clinical hypnotherapy, health psychology, and prenatal yoga.
Participants learn:
— Breathing and relaxation patterns to teach and reinforce during labour
— Language and communication that reduces fear and supports focus
— Self-hypnosis and focused relaxation techniques used in gentle birth approaches
— Body positioning, movement, and environmental adjustments for calm labour
— Working respectfully alongside women who bring their own birth preparation
— Maintaining clinical protocols while honouring a physiological birth approach
